I'm tired of everybody writing LSU off as a non threat or at a disadvantage because of our supposed "qb situation".
I understand we are unsure which of the quarterbacks we are going to play but you would think LSU has enough sense to recruit talented quarterbacks(we do) and The Wizard has come up with a brilliant scheme to supplement their play.
I'm sure you all are going to rip me a new one but I just had to get it off my chest. We are so close to the season and the wait is starting to take its toll on me...

Yeah, but isn't it great that the fact we have an unexperienced QB in and we are thinking we go 9-3 at the worst. Thinking back over the time period from pre 2001, I will take that and be proud.

If Florida or Georgia had to start a former Harvard QB, they would be ranked a lot lower than 6. Also everyone on this site as well as the rest of the college football world would write them off too.

You guys have too much talent not to be in the hunt. the QB situation will work itself out. I expect you guys to win games ala the Ravens with Dilfer at QB: strong defense, good special teams play and a QB that just has to manage the game, not be spectacular

Trent Dilfer or Kyle Boller? We'll find out in 2 weeks. Never thought I'd want my QB to be like Dilfer.

It's been said numerous times on multiple threads. You make it sound like an AppSt fan is the ONLY one with the proper perspective. It's the national media that you're thinking of. But we agree on the subject.

I like us being in this spot....under the radar, still in the top 10, no pressure....heck, we might even struggle badly somewhere in the first 3 games so everyone chuckles about 'how good we used to be' when we are mentioned. As long as we keep winning, even close wins with 'inferior' competition, we are fine. As long as that second number in our record is a 0, everyone else can 'bitch n whine' all they want.

People have such short memories. We are preseason top 10 and we have constant bitching. Hell, we used to celebrate when we'd crack the top 10.

I was about to say the same as the previous guys. If you're in the top 10 and go out and play football and win, you're gonna go places.
