Pitchers didn’t bat when I played and we still didn’t talk shite out of respect. Old man yelling at clouds, but I wish there was less of that.

I think the Latino players are the ones that brought this to the US, travel ball and little league players are just doing what they see big leaguers do, as they always have.

This is college baseball as a whole. This sport is filled with the biggest cocky douchebags on earth. Just like the Kentucky guy staring down Guidry last week like he actually accomplished something by simply getting walked with his gay arse shades on.

I dont think you watch MLB that much. Latin players may pimp HRs or celebrate with a little more energy than American players but you really dont see much shite talk or showing up of other players at the MLB level. You see it substantially more in college than MLB. I think its s trickle down from parents and coaches in travel hall and these kids never being told not to do what they are doing.

Pimping home runs would’ve gotten them beaned a few decades ago.

That being said, a lot of it started when pitchers stopped having to hit as somebody mentioned earlier.
