About 25 years ago, I bought my son a Chrysler Sebring - found out the hard way you have to remove the front driver-side wheel to get to the battery.

The wife had a 2009 GMC Acadia where the battery was in the floor behind the passenger seat...It was basically removing the floor mat, and a frame held on by brackets.. Easy to change, and the battery was clean...

Being able to change out "simple" things in my driveway with a youtube search and a screwdriver is part of why I like keeping my old truck.
