They were a few yards away from the national championship game in 2012.

The lowest star rated QB LSU in recent years was three star Lindsey Scott. The rest have been 4 stars which were stud high school players. They just haven't developed well at LSU which is the frustrating thing.

Which was only made possible because Lsu was a few yards and seconds from their own NC.

And that's the key. Show we can develop and effectively utilize the QB spot and passing game and we will see QBs more interested in committing here. I think 2018 will be a solid step in the right direction with Brennan/Narcisse.

Kinda hard to do well when teams knew what play you were running.

You want QB's,

Make the tough call and hire Art Briles, he will get LSU the QB's.

How are you determining "top QBs."?

You are basically saying their unknowns at QB will be good and our unknowns at QB will not be good.

Because LSU for sure has two "top QBs" and with a commitment will have three.

Not sure what your issue is.

QB is a position where you can only field one guy at a time. So while it would help LSU to get one of those guys, if you can't get one, it definitely can't hurt us by having them all at one university. As long as these idiots keep bottle-necking it at Georgia, that's less teams we have to face with an elite QB. Better to have them all at Georgia than one at Georgia, One at Auburn, one at Alabama, etc. The same goes for when Alabama signs like seven five-star running backs in a year. Let 'em whither on the vine and they can't hurt you.

Yet teams around us have surplus talent.

So fricking frustrating! One breakthrough would reverse the trend.

LSU did sign 2 pretty good 4 star QBs last cycle....... besides Justin Fields there’s not a difference maker out there IMO. Look for LSU to get a grad Transfer for depth.

I remember watching Matthew Stanford struggle his first year at UGA. I would have never guessed he would turn out the way he did.

Archie Manning hates LSU and it's fans. Hates everything about LSU, he calls the Troy QB and congratulates him on kicking our arse. Nope, he takes total advantage of Louisiana and laughs all the way to the bank.

We may be expecting too much from Brennan the first year, but I believe he will end up doing great things for LSU.

There has to be something we can do to reverse our trend with qbs

it is very frustrating; hell, the aggies had 3 5 stars qb's at one time and ran them all off and then still had 2 competent ones left.

we need to go looking for transfers and it looks to me that Georgia would be a good place to start.

2/3 are from Georgia though.

We assume we’re getting every LA recruit. UGA should feel the same way about GA.

Understatement of the year. NO other team has been as unlucky as we have with QBs.
