It’s okay man, just say you didn’t know what you were talking about. No need for all the mental gymnastics

It’s 315 to the right field foul pole, what are you talking about???

Just because it says 315, doesn’t always mean it’s 315

I took batting practice with my 12 year olds little league team last night.

I hit 47 bombs!

Stand corrected, I didn’t think Athens dropped off about 4-500 feet being 70 miles east from the metro.

Even though its not very close, even if it was 1000 feet that doesnt change much.

There is a notable difference in ball flight from sea level to mile high (5000+ft) stadium, could be 20-30 feet maybe at times on longer hits.

There is very little notable difference in ball flight from sea level to say truist which is around 1000ft above sea level, maybe a few feet to 5ish at most.

Daniel Jackson hit .240 at UGA last year with 14 HRs and 3 doubles

This year he's over .400 with 14 HRs already and just 2 doubles (think he tries to basically just do 1 thing )

UGA has played absolutely nobody so far and only 1 game away from their band box park; these numbers will go down dramatically in SEC play, even at their home park

I would guess the wind and how the park is oriented to it is a bigger impact than elevation.

They're also worse away from home because they can't use tech to steal signs.

That’s an impressive number regardless of ball park size!

290 ft dude. Thats not impressive at all. Its a joke really.

Softball parks for old men are bigger

I thought it was 314 to right field... but still a short dimension. Looked up Alex Box and Bluebell Park (Olson Field) for comparison. Both are very similar. The Box is slightly longer to CF. 405 vs 400. LF and RF both the same.

So the disproportionate length is RF at Foley.

Pretty sure they lost last year in the regional or supers bc whoever they were playing hit a HR to right field.

Pretty sure Tenn ball park is the same.

We play there this year, hopefully big boy can crush it.
