If I were a coach, I'd burn the tape of this game. I wouldn't want any if my players to look at that. They should already know what things they did wrong and how to correct them. You can't keep dribbling the ball off your foot; you can't keep jumping directly into three point shooters; you can't fall asleep in transition; you have to shoot better than 30%, or whatever it was, from the floor, and you can't be missing 17 free throws, if you want to beat a good team.
These aren't new problems, other than the shooting 30% part. They were just all present at the same time. Games like this make LSU look really overrated, and I know there are fanbases that are probably running their mouths as we speak, over this performance. But this just isn't LSU. They are in a funk. We've seen what they've done on the road at Alabama, at Arkansas and at Missouri. And we usually see them blowout the teams that they're supposed to.
I'm just glad they've pulled these last two out, despite all of the self inflicted problems. Time to get back to playing with consistency, though.

28-45 free throws
This will be downfall of this team in the tourney

We shoot 69% from the free throw line which is obviously not good.
Interestingly enough, South Carolina is also bad at free throws shooting 70%.
The good thing is we still lead the entire country in free throws made per game (18).
