I do t think Guidry is playing the position that is going to get him to the next level. His mechanics as a pitcher is not natural. It seems forced. I don’t feel he has enough junk. Is he choosing not to play a position or is he really better at pitching than positional?

Well college kids struggle hitting him. That’s all I know.

He has a wicked breaking ball that hardly anybody can touch when he’s on. Dumb post is dumb

You think he’s got a better shot playing SS?

Do you know what the average fastball velocity was in the MLB last year?

It has nothing to do with the outcome of this game. Choose any night. Like the other poster noted, 89-92 on a fastball that is flat ain’t cutting it.

Somewhere between 92-95. It ain’t all speed either. If you throw it without movement, you’re in trouble

Who cares if he makes it to the league? lol, his slider might be the best single pitch on the entire pitching staff.

It was an all time high of 94.1. Over the next 4-5 years (when he would get to the MLB) he could definitely add 3-5 MPH to his fastball.

He is on draft boards as a draft eligible sophomore as a pitcher. That's where he'll make his money as a baseball player.

He proved he could get big boy hitters out last year. I don’t really care if he ever plays in the mlb. He’s a pretty good college pitcher

a good enough breaking ball or off speed makes 89 look like 97
