Gator D strength vs. our O strength

How is the match up? They have made their claims to the DBU title. How is their D line? We have an amazing O line. What about their rushing D? etc etc etc.
We have not met a REAL defense yet.
I am only a fan.. not an expert. Come on, experts... educate me, please.

They're basically Ole Miss 2014 with better cornerbacks and worse safeties IMO.

Your oline has struggled in pass pro IMO. Don't look at the stat lines, watch the games and see how your QB is forced from the pocket, how they have issues keeping a pocket, pressures, etc.

They're good all around but their secondary is their strength.
But their secondary won't do them any good once buga gets past the line.

They are ranked #2 in the conference in run d but they are no match for our running game, imo. At home? We're going to wear them down.

I have seen that. I have said that our O line is great with run blocking but they haven't been as good at pass protection... HOPING it is because they haven't had enough practice at it!!

We will get rushing yards. I see it being close and low scoring until the 4th. LSU leads 13-7 at half.

Taylor avg less than 100 yds/game
Tennessee ran for 254 yards on them.
They do have some good DL and really good CB's.
If we can run the ball out of the single back set and hit some play action, we should have our we with them. Limit the penalties and play solid defense against the run I think we'll win comfortably. By no means an easy game.

Chris Jones is one of the best D lineman in the league. They are strong upfront. I'd say Florida's line and MS State's line aren't worlds apart, and the linebackers are on the same level as well. Florida's DB's are far stronger, but for what LSU does best UF is on par with MSU.
