Danielson seemed pretty pro LSU to me esp in regards to wanting it to be a closer game

That was really bad. The sad part is, when you are playing Bama, that is a huge break.

There was more coverage of Minka Fitzpatrick on the sidelines than actual game.

This. And I hate these announcer threads.

The thing that pissed me off the most is when we put Brennan in, he went out his way to say how Bama needed to play defense and that, “That not DeShawn Watson back there”

No shite Gary.

Gary is sharp and insightful. He accurately assesses both teams most of the time. Every year he says nicer things about Bama than about LSU. This is because:

A. He is a Bama homer.
B. The facts about Bama sound nicer than the facts about LSU.

I think it's "B". And the fact that Bama has beaten LSU 7 times in a row, with 5 of them being rather uncompetitive, tends to support that.

Can you whiny frickers stop crying about the announcers? It is not their job to praise our mediocre team.

Agree, he was slobbering over this kid a little too much.

For the most part, he tends to be fair in SEC games except when it comes to Alabama.

And was wrong so much.

Just one more example of how miserably wimpy our fanbase sounds all the time now. The refs hate us, ESPN hates us, the announcers suck, our former players have turned on us

Man up, people! Geez.

wait...........weren't you the clown on the scorebaord saying Saban was not a good defensive mind?

lol not at all

here's the full quote

The truth is that Saban as a tactician is overrated
He is the best recruiter and overall program manager the sport has ever seen. Yes his teams always have sound schemes, but he is an average gameday coach.

reading comprehension man...you can do better...i'm pulling for you

He even took up for Alexander after he got belted on the sideline.

He said "That's Football" and that it shouldnt have been an ejection after he said that Derrick Dillons hit against UF was an obvious ejection.

He had to make up for Verne not being there to support his Tide.
In the 1st qtr it was Hurts for Heisman.
Towards the end of the game he was trying to get Harris in the mix.
Pathetic!

really like how Danielson calls the games. He’s fair and pretty much says it how it is. That’s why he ends up offending the overly sensitive homers out there from every fanbase.

this. of course, I don't get rankled when he compliments the other team when they do something good. and the vast majority of the time the man is correct, like it or not.
