This has been discussed. That's not what he said. He was talking about w. Carolina or some other school on their schedule. Move on.

You are correct--he was talking about Western Carolina (on 11/22).

When a commentator steps out and says a call(s) or questionable, multiple reviews on tv shows state the same, your coach questions the calls albeit after the game,

It is not just fans and IF our AD was doing his job he would be working the SEC office over.

That being said - it is over , unlike the gumps we don't get do overs- LSU has to learn that you need to be two scores ahead of Bama going into the final minute if you want insurance on your win.

Playing close or from behind will not work

Yeah, I especially liked the part where either him or Verne said Jennings was faking being injured to get the clock to stop

I think what this guy is saying that we can open things up a bit. I believe that if we ran a better offensive scheme, we might land better QB recruits. Cam can develop true QB talent but if they don't come here......

I've said for years we sometimes win games based solely on talent alone and not on the coaching/development of those players.

The guy really is the GOAT or close to it. Most of the critisms you'll hear about him are pure homerism.

Do we know that is not what happened? That was a very weird sequence of events.

Sometimes Gary gets really deep into the analysis that it becomes almost silly.

Besides, when he said that, he said it was a smart move by AJ. It just didn't make sense because I think the defender ripped off his facemask, so AJ wouldn't have to sit out a play.

I think I'm remembering that correctly. I was pretty drunk.

I think most people dislike Verne.

And maybe he's really not all that bad. He sits by Danielson who has his stuff together at all times. If Verne called the Tuesday night MAC games on ESPN no one would feel one way or the other about him.

I actually like Verne. He makes me laugh. He is really old, though.

You know when a TV personality gets so old that it almost becomes a distraction? That's how I'm beginning to feel towards Verne. I've always liked him, though.

I thought his theory was that AJ might have faked the injury to buy some time to get the face mask fixed and minimize the amount of time he'd be off the field.

If that's actually what happened, I agree with him. That's being football smart.

I cannot agree more. In fact, there have been times when I've wondered whether the fans of the opposing teams hated Danielson because he seemed so complimentary of LSU all of the time.

However, once even one ranter on here cries out in pain about something Danielson said that he did not like, then a bunch of others will join in the chorus because it's cool to do so.

Without a doubt. I would hope that most people see that, but then again, I know that isn't the case based on posts that I read.

Oh, gotcha. That would be smart. I just assumed they had extras on standby so that wouldn't be necessary.

Point is, Gary was being complimentary of AJ.

Go watch the Saints if you want to be entertained with a high flying passing offense. Their record this season proves that it is the way to go.

Does the Broncos record prove anything?

I like him, and he had the best statement about the Les Miles offense ever. Before 2012 Danielson said, "I'm tired of watching LSU play offense with only 10 men. It's time to let the quarterback make plays."

Dude was spot on!!!

Yeah I don't take him all that seriously. He says off the wall stuff sometimes but I just chaulk it up to old age also.

frick Danielson. After the way he commentated our game he can eat that Bama dick he rode all night.

Danielson just about made me sick the way he arse-kissed Alabama practically the whole game. And I laughed my arse off when A. Cooper dropped about 4 passes in the second half after Danielson declared him the "best player in college football today."

You should've been a Tiger fan last year. LSU's offense was record breaking in the passing game.

it will never change with Miles in charge. Guess I'll just grin and bear it.

All you have to do is read up on LSU football since Miles' arrival in 2005. You'll see that whenever Miles has a competent QB, he knows how to let the offense win games. A big problem though is that Louisiana high schools just don't produce a lot of drop-back/passing QBs.

Seriously, you should've gotten here sooner.
