Seems they've announced all their signings today except one. Would love to be a fly on the wall in the Burch household right now. His teammate Alex Huntley signed his LOI with USC, but Burch still dragging it out.

There's really only two explanations:
1) He is being dramatic for the attention
2) He truly does not want to turn it in yet because he is torn.

I would agree with that assessment. Burch can't make a real solid commitment, so LSU should move on. I was just reporting that no LOI sent to USC as of yet. Who knows what the kid will do next, but if I am LSU I'd keep an eye on the fax machine. Just sayin!

To me, Burch want to play for LSU, but his mom work at South Carolina and want to to play for them so she can see him play. Since Burch is only 17, he need his mother signature on his Letter Of Intent (LOI) in order to play. That's why he didn't sign in December. Think about it, if he really wanted to play at South Carlina, he would have signed already.

You got it wrong, mom is convinced Boom will be fired this year and wants him now to go to LSU. Mom must sign LOI as he is a minor.
He is a good kid, he lives right by USC, friend already signed with them, it’s like a kid a U High. Normally we would have zero shot

I really think he wanted to be at LSU but his mom is pushing him too hard to USCe. It's quite selfish if you asks me. Hell, even Clemson would be a better spot for him to land, especially with all the pros they've recently put out on the de line. I know good players can come from all different colleges and levels of colleges but it's more difficult to get that top notch development, especially when the HC you're committing to may not even make it through your 1st year.
ETA - if what was said is true in the post above, then I retract my statement about moms. I haven't heard that recently, but also don't follow daily.
