Those same 3 pitches from Newman would have worked after the first trip to the mound.

It was absolutely too long. He should have been pulled his first trip to the mound. He doesn't learn from his mistakes. He's as stubborn as Miles.
Noticed you didn't say anything till AFTER he gave up the run, easy to say after the fact.

No it wasn't. It was fine.
Exactly. If Lange works himself out of the jam everyone would be saying it was a great move to leave him in.
Hindsight is 20/20.

top 8, Foster leading off
way inside, nearly hit him, 1-0
strike, 1-1
inside, 2-1
strike, 2-2
foul down the third base line, 2-2
fouled off Foster's foot, he goes down, 2-2
CPM and a trainer taking a look, Foster holding his left shin
took some time to recover, but staying in
low, full count
single to left!!!!

I cannot blame Paul for this one, I have several times this year, but I agree with the pull at this point. Hopefully the pen can hold on, but Bama's pen is worn out as well.

You're ridiculous.
Did you forget we played a 15 inning game last night and burnt the majority of our pen. You let you're ace try to work out of it.

Say Lange is pulled earlier and Newman gives up the run instead. Did CPM make the right move pulling him?
Hindsight is 20/20. Easy to say it was the wrong move after it already happened.

You are a bit ahead of the stream.

Sorry Hawthorne is about 5 minutes ahead of the poor UA feed.
