I think it's the "Tex" clown that's driving me nuts with his pronunciation. So far,

Al-S-U = LSU
sackond = second
savanth = seventh
allinois = Illinois
Shumbla = Sciambra
Kotch = Katz
Lahffty = lefty
twalve = twelve
Kally = Kelly

Can't believe he gets Bonvillain right!

Jacoby Jones will be drafted lower than be expected if he doesn't end the season on a tear. But he isnt coming back because Katz, Eades, and Rhymes are gone. He will end up signing and try his luck in the pros.

He kills it in the cape cod leagues just has trouble here

Remember, MLB scouts drool over potential and will always draft accordingly

He had really shortened it up from last year, but he's getting more and more frustrated and getting back into his old habits.

I'd love to see a first round pick who came out after hitting below the mendoza line as a junior in college. Mainieri seems to think Jones will still be one "without a hit the rest of the season"

jacoy's body language looks like he wants out of the game. Maybe it's just me.

Agreed. I would love to see a MLB GM try to sell a 1st round pick with those numbers to his fanbase.

I know he's not this bad. He was better than this in Cape Cod, and he was one of the team's better hitters in SEC play last season, and came through with a huge HR in Game 1 against Stony Brook.

If you don't think this is a legit slump, then you're crazy. He's doing something wrong though.
