I agree the base running is sub par but the first blunder was a calculated call, not a blunder.
And this second blunder sounds like he might actually have been safe!

our base running can do alot more this year, really only a couple of guys in the line up who don't have lots of speed.
and the speed we have in a couple of spots is as good as it was when we won it all, aka our speed matches the speed Jared Mitchell had, and he was lightning fast.

He was the Saturday starter. He had some good outings. If he was terrible he would have lost his spot quickly. We have him now in a role to get 2-4 outs, not 7 innings worth. Cut the guy a little slack.
