Someone explain to me how pop ups are due to bad hitting and ground balls are due to good pitching. Wtf does that even mean.

I'm more concerned about postseason. Every team has one good pitcher. LSU will be in trouble when they face quality pitching staffs in tournament play.

Generally, you pop up when you swing late, even on good fastballs to hit. Ground balls generally happen when out in front on offspeed pitches. This is obviously not a rule, but it's where the thought comes from.

I think it makes sense
You dont wanna leave shite up in the zone. If you are popping it up you are missing as a batter.
If you are locating your pitches you should be getting more ground balls.

We have absolutely dominated some good pitchers this year. I wouldn't write it off just yet. Tonight was just one of those nights. If it happens again then their may be some reason for concern. Some of it may have to do with they fact that they could have had the cruise control on thinking it would be easy because of Florida last weekend. Just hope that isn't true.
