That liner their P turned the dp on was huge. It cost us at least a run, and possibly a big inning to chase him early. Just one of those nights.

Every Aggie fan is alike. When it is good you are all gay cheering and the biggest fans in the world. When it is bad you cry in the corner and don't want to talk to anyone. Got locked out of our hotel room by an angry Aggie fan. Would travel with him again even if he paid all the expenses.

poor hitting + poor fielding + great pitching = loss

this game started at 9:45 it wasn't a normal game, I'm not worried we will bounce back tomorrow if we even place the game.
people overreact in baseball. aTm has won games this year even against good teams. This isn't football one loss doesn't kill you. Its more about the series not each game.

Downvoted your negatiger post.
I'm really glad to see Glenn is starting to establish himself. He's gonna be huge in da playoffs.
Also, did that closer talk shite to the LSU dugout after striking out Katz? Couldn't tell. Did notice he apparently wears earrings though.

Are the not immune to changes like LSU?
I have no idea what that is supposed to mean. They threw their best pitcher first. Just because we stopped doing that last week for obvious advantages down the road it doesn't mean the rest of the conference has to.

If you're the head coach of an SEC baseball team and change your starting rotation each week due to your opponent's starting rotation, you will likely see little success and will be fired very soon.

that liner up the middle that Ibarra hit would only be an out 1 time out of 100. It cost LSU tonight. Breaks all went to AtM and their P had a good outing making pitches when he got in trouble. Late game was a tough one too, but they'll hopefully come back pissed off tomorrow.
Glenn also got squeezed big time on what should have been a called strike three on the first batter of the 7th inning. He got a hit the very next pitch on a full count. Then, the next hitter gets on by way of an error, then a run scores on another error on the sac bunt attempt. Just really unlucky inning for Glenn. I agree with your post as well. That was just a lucky play, can't do anything about that one. At worst, we have the bases loaded with one out.

All I'm saying is maineri keeps his 1-2 pitchers on their Friday/Saturday...
I understand what you are saying, though and I'm not disagreeing with you FWIW. The result of both coaching decisions results in a greater inequality in pitching for the weekend, that's all.

Was just thinking that I am sacrificing to only get 4 hours of sleep and I just watched our most uncharacteristic game of the year. Oh well.

We lost this game due to lack of Emma.
