Only player on our team not named McMuffin with a least one of each: single, double, triple, home run.

His stat line is crazy. I realize it's only 10 at bats but you'd think
.571
1 double, 1 triple, 1 homerun
7 RBIs
2 walks, 1 hbp
Slugging 1400 obp 700
Earns you another spot start or two

Looks like state had a rough day. Lost big to an Arizona team who got swept at home by the Hall last weekend.

State is struggling and it's hilarious since they talked so much crap prior to this season. But it's bad for us if they don't get it together.

In case anyone was wondering. I posted earlier that Todd Walker was in BR to honor Beetle Bailey. It turns out there's a tournament in his name at Episcopal this weekend. Pelican sports is showing yesterday's game. Skip is on the mike.

Who would you replace Fraley with?
Fraley to lf, McMullen back to DH and Hale at 1st with Scivique behind the plate?

quote:Fraley to RF. Laird back to LF. But other than that, you got it. There is an abundance of talent, especially in the outfield. Throw in the play of Hale and Robertson both of whom you have to leave in the lineup, and there are guys on the bench who are ready to step in without much of a drop off.

I agree, let Chinea sit the bench in that case.
I guess losing Renfroe last season was a bit underestimated by State fans. He was a huge loss.

Don't forget about Adam Frazier. Leadoff hitter batting .380 and a sure hand at short. They're having serious fielding issues out there.

Yea I forgot about Frazier. He was solid.

What ell said. If you give him some starts and it doesn't pan out so be it.
Posted on 3/8/14 at 10:30 am to bbap
He's faster and probably hits better than moore. I get the experience factor but he will be fine if you let him play enough.

I'd keep Vique at DH and leave Chin where he is. Vique doesn't look good on his throws to 2B.
Posted on 3/8/14 at 11:05 am to Guava Jelly
Disagree there. I think he's looked just as good as chinea if not better.
Posted on 3/8/14 at 11:06 am to Guava Jelly
Sciv's throws to 2B are the best on the team IMO.
