We all appreciate the US Army, they keep us safe, those guys are heroes.

We are playing a college football team Saturday made up of college football players. These guys aren’t WWII veterans.

I imagine they would like to be treated like college football players, the pandering and “being respectful” stuff has got to be a little lame for them.

Here’s the thing, no one is saying to commit seppuku and lose the game in order to honor them. However, they do deserve our respect and admiration. It is possible for us as fans to show them our appreciation for them both before and after the game and want to beat their arse during it.

Some of y’all are chalking the end zone stuff etc. up to fans us saying that we don’t want to hang fricking 70 on em.

Two things can be true at once.

I can’t wait to go boo them and then give the middle finger to the LSU fans who don’t like it.

When you play an option team in a bowl game or the first game of the season its pretty easy. When you have 3-4 days of practice to prepare for them....it's not.

Way back we killed Ga Tech in a bowl game because we had a month to prepare. ULM bear Army first game because they had time. They will get their yards but were too athletic to lose this ....don't know about that spread

Spread option...mostly zone reads and QB design runs like every other run heavy spread team. They don't do anything flexbone anymore, and aren't running the spread option like Jamey Chadwell ran at Coastal Carolina. Army isn't the trap game they used to be unless LSU's defense just lets them run free.

Kelly will not let it get beyond the upper 40's to low 50's in points.

I'm expecting LSU 52 Army 10

LSU -30.5 (yes, absolutely)
o/u 58 (over)

Cool...filling up my piss ballons now!

I will be there Saturday for the simple reason of...

I lived 7 years just outside of Philadelphia and I never went to the Army/Navy game...and its one of my biggest regrets.

Plus one of my best friends went to Army!

Unlike you...I will be respectful.

Army is supposed to be made of our best, brightest, and toughest, why would we treat them any different than other opponent. Its insulting.

How much time did Troy have to prepare when they just shut them out?
