His behavior out weighs his performance. I didn't like how he represented LSU, but he's the Redskins problem now.

I wish LSU still had the problem of Laron Landry talking trash to players. IMO, that is a good problem to have.

Standing over a downed opponent and talking trash, IS TRASH.

He played a great game but he did give the saints 14 points and all the taunting and showboating was very very annoying

he knew the camera would be on him since he's an LA boy... I will always support and love Landry, but yesterday was a bit much. His pass coverage is pathetic too, just sayin.

There is no doubt that he is the hardest player that ever went to LSU to pull for. In fact, he needs to get his s*** together. Never saw a dude that gives up huge plays or tackles a guy after he just made a 20 yard play and starts dancing and talking smack. Did you see him every time he was on the Saints sideline.

Landry did a lot of taunting when he was at LSU and nobody seemed to mind then. Most people thought he was a 'beast' and a 'badass'. It's funny to see all the Saints fans berate him now.

Dude is a pos that talks way to much shite. He is more worried about his ego and himself than his team. He would make a tackle after a Saints first down and get up and clap for an hour nod his head forever. He played like shite.

He did not play a great game. He is a FREE Safety. His responsibility is to provide the defense some back end protection.

Darren Sharper could have 12 tackles a game if he decided to just key on the run and play undisciplined. The FS is never blocked, so he can make as many tackles as he wants.

I guarantee Payton and Brees were trying to figure how to burn him all day.....and his taunting did not help things.

I agree.. We all loved Laron when he was here but now he playes against the saints and everyone hates him... I absolutely love watching Laron play. He may not be the best, but you can bet one thing, he will bring it.

What gets me is it appeared that he thought his hard hits outweighed his being burnt for the two long touchdowns. I am not sure if he actually realizes how much he screwed his team by biting on those fakes. As long as he hits a few people hard it looks as if he thinks he did his job.

...is a dirty player who also talks trash constantly. Yet, he wasn't smart enough to recognize that he was the target of Brees and the offense.

You can't call it a great game when you let someone get behind you twice for long TD's, the only Saints' offensive TDs of the game, including the equalizer inside the last two minutes. He was posterized - his back is on every highlight reel today, twice. A WaPo columnist wrote in today's paper that he takes the "safe" out of safety.

All that said, he is being misused. Should be deployed like the Saints do with Harper, a SS functioning as a virtual part time linebacker. The histrionics are inconsequential but did make me extra glad to see him burned yesterday.
