we went from FIRE SANKEY to a 14 year old's "daddy's back" campaign?

Objection noted. Let's see what the rest of the board has to say.

I have a vendor who can roll out digital on 85 screens in Oxford. This is in bars, restaurants, gas stations, dentists offices, etc. I am waiting on the quote, but I love this idea as a troll. I want to say "Daddy's Back! Geaux Tigers!"

The board knows he’s a contrarian and I doubt he realizes it’s two separate projects.

“FIRE SANKEY” is more of an SEC shot and it makes sense in Birmingham.

It kinda plays in oxford, but I’m sure 99% of this place would prefer to take a pointed shot at ole miss in this situation.

That is my thinking.

Digital on small screens is only $425 for a week. Booking it.

PLEASE give me your thoughts on the messaging. Right now, it is going to be "Daddy's back! Geaux Tigers."

What about incorporating that cartoon gif of Lane with the kid-sized Pete Golding?

this ain't about being a contrarian dipshit and he can do what he wants, but he did raise funds under the guise of going after Sankey and the colluded effort against LSU. That's my 2 cents.

I think the banner needs to be simple and to the point

This is perfect

I sort of think this is a little cheesy

I think the collective here can come up with something much better

Also - are any of yall concerned that we basically have our whole ‘playbook’ posted right here for everyone to see and possibly counter in some way?

The Ole Miss targeted banner "Daddy's Back" flying over Gameday set is more likely to get better ESPN coverage and replays throughout the day than an SEC/Sankey banner. ESPN has a contractual relationship with the SEC.

this ain't about being a contrarian

So then it was ignorance, got it.

quote:

but he did raise funds under the guise of going after Sankey

Wasn’t a “guise” at all. He accomplished that goal.

He had extra funds and decided to continue in a different location, so the message is better tailored to that location.

So if you knew about the 2 separate goals, it was about being a contrarian. If you didn’t, then it was about ignorance.

Either way this issue is moot.

This campaign has turned into amateur hour. I’m out.
