Edwards-Helaire. Not ideal.

Our Run D is going to be really really good this year.

Surprised Damone got 6 tackles. Means he must have had good playing time. To me he was extremely underrated out of high school last year. Looks like the defense played extremely well. Looks like our receivers made some good yardage catches.

Yeah my thought exactly. That’s some awful running stats, we need someone to step up

Edwards-Helaire surprises me the most (negatively).

And Cole Tracy excites me the most because of his consistency. I hope it shows in games.

they'll say running backs are a dime a dozen and we don't need a difference maker at that position.

im not sure if i would call it a surprise or not but im super excited to see K'Lavon is living up to the potential so far. if he is the player we hope he will be it will be huge for LSU this season

That’s what surprised me the most and sorta the reason I made this thread... Damone surprised me stepping up like that! Who was he filling in for? White or Phillips?

our RB and OL will hurt this team. I don't see how we don't escape this year with fewer than 5 loses

Or the obligatory "we'll be fine at RB" statement.

I’ve always thought our Front 7 is top 2 SEC and top 3 in country.

They look good.

the favorite offseason quote

I’ll be honest, based on last season I’ve been really underestimating K’Lavon... I was pleasantly surprised by his performance in the spring game and haven’t heard anything to tell otherwise: I think we’ve got someone as good as Key replacing him!

You want em to have 100 yds a piece so you could say Yikes about LSUs run defense? . It's just a double edged sword your dealing with. Says a lot about LSUs stout run D.

Not sure if he filled in for anyone. I would guess maybe he just had a better day than Phillips.

I’m not worried about CEH. I saw what I needed from him in the spring.

On the other hand it’s brossette that never amasses more than 4 ypc

Yeah I’m hoping it’s just a dominant LSU DLine. Thing is, we face our fair share of dominant front 7s this year, starting out with game one...
