Re-writing context is natural when you are put on edge.

OT pro/anti vax'er posters are masters of this technique.

I mean, this is from the editor-in-chief after all. You should read some of the responses on the thread on their website. Very entertaining.

While I tend to agree, they do have a pretty good quarterback. LSU just had a defensive plan and some exceptional players that pretty much held him in check.

I think they may have not been able to get as many good evaluations on recruits between 20 and 22 seasons for whatever reasons. But let us not put them down too much, like you said they lost two games by a total of 4 points, and both on the last play. They are just not as dominant as some of their prior teams and their fans can't accept that.

Everyone of these threads is a joy to read.
The whole country discounted LSU, as they always do.
The Tigers broke the gump fan base and it’s glorious.

And then there was Brian Kelly’s hell-bent-for-leather game management, which reflected again the fact that he has all the characteristics of an elite coach. What couldn’t be done at Notre Dame, due largely to academic restrictions and a program that puts far too much focus on nostalgia, Kelly has done in less than a season at mega-talented LSU: He has combined his skills as a technical coach with the ability to motivate, enforce accountability and make his team believe.
this right here should scare the absolute frick out of rival fans

I'm still laughing at all the talking heads and supposed know-it-alls who thought Saban talking about transfer portal stuff and open NIL, was just same old Saban saying, "alright, I warned you, now I'm about to show you with your own moves". They say that crap because of how all the offenses were changing and Saban whined about it back then, then he ended up changing his offense as well and people acted like it was Saban giving a warning.

Saban isn't giving a warning, he's showing that he'll do what it takes to win. He changed his offense for that reason. If he didn't, he'd be like Jimbo. With NIL, he couldn't change that. Bama can't offer what TAMU was offering and Miami. He was afraid of his stranglehold on recruiting waning. What he's done now is have a bad coaching staff on top of kids that were super disciplined under him, now get big money deals and he has less control over them. Do people realize why he ran his arse back to college in the first place? He couldn't discipline the adults with millions like he could the kids with Chargers.

Only idiots think his talent isn't the same. People were talking about his WRs not being explosive, bullshite! They have a lof of explosive WRs, but obviously people forgot coaching exists. You think not one WR he got from Louisiana last year is explosive? It's coaching and play calling.

Look at the DBs! The DBs don't even look for the ball in the air. That's why they have so many pass interference calls.

Some people think we are just being casuals, but the dynasty is done, tdecline is real. Once Texas and Oklahoma get in, and Miami, Florida, and FSU are fully back to recruiting that state, he is done for. He's gotten fat off Louisiana, Florida, and Texas not being elite. If Auburn brings in Deion or Freeze, both of them will be able to get recruits there. Playing a good Tennessee and decent Auburn every year and rotating with the likes of Texas, Ole Miss being relevant, LSU, Florida will be decent, UGA, Oklahoma will be good, etc, he will lose that SEC stranglehold he's had.

Everything is happening all at once to force him into retirement. Yall, it is on the horizon, we are near the end of his road in CFB.

I hope they suffer mental illness- breakdowns- boils- hives- nervous ticks- divorce- plagues of locusts- sewer gas- halitosis- every malady known to man - for the cheating- stealing- arrogant- sons of bitches that they are-

I couldn’t hate the axe murderer of my very own mother more than I hate ALABAMA-

May they suffer a constipation that never ends- with hemorrhoids the size of basketballs-

I’ll get mad and tell you what I really think in a sec-

Bama's talent and coaching gap is decreasing, I doubt they're run is completely over but I think the days of Bama going into a each week and the only question being will they cover the spread are coming to an end.

now is using the the portal to bring in hired guns affecting team chemistry ? Possible.

Maybe. Or better yet, maybe it shows that Saban is losing his edge at motivating young kids to "be a champion." At some point it will happen that he becomes just an old fart in the room. Alabama has always been known for super disciplined and sound football under Saban, and this year we're not seeing that even though per the 247 composite this is his most talented team. I wonder if the NIL money is contributing to him not getting across to his players.

Is that just since Saban was there or even during the Mike Dubose, Dennis Franchione and Mike Shula years?
