Lol if McMillan thought he had that kind of stroke.

Dude wasn’t a FT starter as a senior in HS and he was demanding to start at LSU?

Had nothing to do with stroke. He was in the same position as, and did the exact same thing as Burrow. They both needed to know where they stood, because they had a decision to make

Urbs was straight up with Burrow, but Ed O kept dragging his arse, hoping he could keep them all

Dont understand the downvotes

Hate to say it, but Hester is part of Os media machine. They will spin it how they see fit. End of the day losing McMillan isn’t the end of the world, but him not thanking the current staff should be off putting.

Agreed

You don't choose your starting QB based on seniority, you play the best QB.

You are correct and this isn't the first time this has been addressed about the same comment. I had the exact same reaction as well to the same idea.

Hester has more than one show called Hanging With Hester if I'm not mistaken and he does multiple shows throughout the day. The show on 104.5 starts at 6 pm.

Makes sense. They had Cody Worsham on who was supposedly at practices and he didn't really offer any insight. They got hung up talking about future scheduling of games like the Texas, FSU and Clemson games. If I recall the only thing he said was Burrow had separated himself, but not necessarily by a wide margin.

If true, I don’t know that Brennan will ever be the guy. I can understand him not unseating a senior in his first year, but being behind McMillan in year 2 is not a good sign and it has nothing to do with weight. He may be a career backup here. I had high hopes.

Brennan was/is supposed to redshirt anyway, maybe putting McMillan 2nd was the coaches trying to keep him somewhat happy. He was going to get the mop up duty if there were any.

But even after all of that they take an offer a kid from Oho St the chance to be the starting QB, I played ball myself and I would be incensed after that. McMillan deserved the chance to play, really he deserved the chance to play last season in his backup role to Etling, but got shut out

Ya know...I'm sick of all this political correctness. We don't owe JM or LN jack shite. If they had been good enough to win the job in the first place, they'd have it. Fk em.
O and this team need to win now....not waiting around for some dumbass to develop. This is a business....a big money business with serious ramifications for all involved.
If you can't cut it, move on. I don't want any QB here who doesn't want to be here and compete.

The coaches must have looked at Burrow and saw upside and pulled the trigger. Its not a fricking mystery.

If he was demanding to start after spring he would've left the day Burrow signed.

McMillian was never going to start, no hate but dude was a toothpick and inaccurate, not a starting QB for the SEC or any power 5 conference school IMHO

Unfortunately, We signed him to better our recruiting class and keep the heat off of Miles/Cameron so they could say atleast we signed a QB,

I wish the kid the best but..

It’s not politically correct to hurt a teenager’s feelings. Every QB recruited by LSU thinks that they are an All-American. Narcisse and McMillian are probably scarred for life. I hope coach O pays for their therapy. I’m sure either QB could be the BMOC at a division 3 school.

That's an idiotic comment and the kid is not being immature, but showed passion in wanting to play. If he was immature he would have said something like that as soon as he arrived at LSU, but no this kid did everything they asked of him in being patient and biding his time. But even after all of that they take an offer a kid from Oho St the chance to be the starting QB, I played ball myself and I would be incensed after that. McMillan deserved the chance to play, really he deserved the chance to play last season in his backup role to Etling, but got shut out. It's really kinda fricked up that this kid never got the chance to play hardly a down at LSU, and he wasn't a bad player, but the only damn way you're going to get better is by playing in live SEC games. Etling screwed up enough in some games last season that they could have sent McMillan in then for a change of pace to let him start getting experienced PT in those games, but in what had to be an insult to him all the more they sent a true frosh (Brennan) in to get PT. LOL That's fricking crazy, no, McMillan has reason to be mad, he really didn't get a fair shake. He showed class even after all of that in thanking LSU and it's fans, and to the coaches that he felt he owed respect to.

You're all over the map. Ever heard of paragraphs?

I'll say it again. If true, it shows what an immature knucklehead McMillan is. And no, it didn't show "class" when he selectively thanked Les and Cam but left out O and Ensminger. It's more evidence of being an immature knucklehead.
Maybe. Maybe it is the same syndrome we all see at our normal work... where the guy, no matter how unproductive, thinks he deserves raises and promotions based on seniority alone.

That's more "you don't know how this works" than immaturity.

It doesn’t surprise me. Just from following theses players on IG and reading between the lines I can tell McMillian was the leader of this team. He was the “alpha” the players used to rally around him.before Burrow it was he and 2 younger players so of course he’d be the big brother of the team

Well that's the definition of immaturity if you would be pissed about the staff bringing in a better player.

Sounds about right. McMillan sounds like a sore loser and spoiled brat. His parting statement proved it with his comments about Les and no mention of CEO.

Makes sense if McMillan never even named O or Ensminger in his farewell letter

This has been rumored for a while, about him really expecting to start and if not he would be upset,

If you actually think McMillan could play in the SEC and it’s O’s fault, go frick yourself. He’s trash, hence why we were garbage under Miles and mediocre under Miles. That clown thought he was an SEC qb. You Miles lovers are fricking garbage. We’re in this situation because of that fricking clown.

Holy shite

A career backup who saw the field maybe once, who most thought was merely depth, transfers to get one last shot to play. When he does, he thanks the coaching staff that brought him into the program.

How in the frick do we go from that, to blabbering Miles hatred?
Need to let go and move on...
