Holden Spaght is the grandson of Carlos Spaght, who was on the Board of Supervisors when I was at LSU. My grandparents knew Carlos Spaght, as well as Dean French who was also on the board.

Bottom line: Many of these football coaches can’t resist the “itch” to keep doing what they love —— even if that means dealing with the new craziness of today’s players, NIL, etc.
