Solid takes imo. I do agree that Bama's defense may have played their best game of the season thus far.

Just like I told the guy sitting near me Saturday, no matter what you call it...you're still a grown man shaking a pom pom.

What were your thoughts on the trenches? For our guys to underperform like that was baffling. Sure they were always in for a long night, but They should’ve competed marginally better based off emotion and passion alone.

You have a hard time choosing between beating off over a poster of Tua or a poster of Saban every night don’t you?

Chill out, dude. Tua is a good QB. There have been better. There will be better ones in the future. He isn’t doing anything that hasn’t been seen before. He’s not gonna go into the NFL and do shite no one has seen before. In fact, I will go on and say it. He will NEVER win a Super Bowl.

re: the trenches: I went into the game thinking the LSU secondary would play tough, and they did. I was surprised at how convincingly Bama won the line-of-scrimmage. The Tide's OL was getting a push all night, and the Tide's DL owned LSU for virtually the entire game.

People carp about the OC, but the OC can't do the blocking. It wouldn't have mattered what scheme was being used, LSU wasn't going to win with the way their OL was being schooled.

Great post my man. Someone in your group buy Saban a Robert Trent Jones lifetime pass or something.

My honest take on Bama's offense was "holy shite them receivers". I think that's the generational squad. Tua looked good but those receivers are padding him IMO. Best group I've seen in a long time.

Very nice post and accurate, but from a Bama standpoint.
Da Coach O has endearing qualities, but mostly from afar and it you do not have to take him seriously.
Very few would want him to be the 'face' of the university, as the HC at most schools are. And you would not choose O if you wanted to compete for championships

Coach O has done a good job with this team so far. LSU has done well playing a difficult schedule all while getting shite on by shitty fans.

you have no perspective. Tua is not a generational player. He's not even in the same breadth as Cam. Tua isn't any better than Deshaun.

Yes he is that good and better than any of late. His throws are as accurate as most pro QB's

The classic Bama fan cheering on opponents coaches when they win. You'd love us to keep him and never win again.

Now that the trash talking has subsided, some of it anyway, I'd like to point out a few things that I noticed during the game. (a) The LSU DBs were as good as advertised. Tua made some plays, but he is a generational type of talent, and Bama had to work for the yards, and points they accumulated during that game (b) The jury is still out, in my mind, re: Joe Burrow. I thought when he had time, he made some good on-time throws. He also put some throws into some very small windows. He just ran into Bama's "A" game on defense. Also Bama showed that it had some pretty good DBs as well. (c) Coach "O" is good for the sport. I hope he stays in Baton Rouge, and I hope he is successful. A guy that stoked to be coaching in his home state, should stick around. I think the recruiting will follow. (d) The atmosphere at Tiger Stadium lived up to the billing.

Good luck on the remainder of the season, here's hoping LSU wins ou

Fair assessement. QB's get too much of the credit in wins and blame in losses. Bama pash rush is legit as it always is, and I thought other than when Jefferson found a few dead spots when Bama went zone, our WR's were covered very tightly by the Bama DB's and gave Joe very small (if any) windows to throw to when in man coverage.

I didn’t think we blocked well enough to find out how good bama secondary is. We might been able to have some success if we could block a swinging dick.
