If anyone is planning on going to Friday's scrimmage, I would really appreciate you letting me tag along.

I think I can speak for the rest of the baseball fans here by saying we would all appreciate letting Scuba tag along.

The Defense looks better than at any point last year

If I were going I'd sure invite you Scuba but my Friday is already spoken for somewhere else.

There's no reason we shouldn't be able to allow the 100 or so people who show up for the scrimmages and simply close off rows and seats. It irrationally pisses me off.

I understand what you're saying, but it's not irrational.

Carl da cat told me at my son's game he has been very upset not to be able to attend the practices! They should let the few in to watch in my opinion

At the only scrimmage I was able to attend, one of the player's dads told me that LSU is allowing only player's parents, grandparents, and scouts in to practice. There were approximately 60 people at the scrimmage I attended, about 50 more than usual if the scouts aren't there.

2 days or so ago Arkansas baseball streamed their Fall World Series on SEC+.
LINK

I am sure I am not the only LSU baseball fan that wishes LSU could provide more coverage of fall practice.

Every year I think about joining the LSU baseball coaches committe...but living in TX I am not sure how much benefit I would get out of it.

Yeah, Arkansas is doing that with all of their "Fall World Series" games. I guess technically LSU could still do that since they haven't started their own "Fall World Series" games. But there has been no indication that it's going to happen. And based on how forthcoming they are with things, I wouldn't expect it.

Arkansas also put out box scores for their games. Their JUCO transfer 3rd baseman is going to be really good.

It’s sad that LSU can’t figure out how to do that sort of thing (or just doesn’t care to) when you see the other schools that are.

Scuba, I don't know if you know or not but the scrimmage today was postponed due to rain.

The scrimmage will be played on Monday starting at 3 PM with the gates open for Purple and Gold level Coaches Committee members (and one guest) from 2 to 3.

It will be an 8 inning scrimmage with scheduled starting pitchers Jaden Hill and Landon Marceaux.

But you're always interested enough to post the exact same shite in every baseball thread.

Thanks for the update, Russian. I assumed that the weather postponed today's scrimmage so I'm still fishing for an invite if anyone can oblige me.

I may be going to the scrimmage Monday. If I do I’d like to invite you as my guest.

Problem is I won’t know if I’ll be able to go until around noon on Monday.

Let me know if you don’t get a sure thing invite before then and check this thread late morning on Monday.

LSU could easily do it if they wanted to
