Why does it matter whether it's on SECN or SECN+?

But yet it’s more important and a bigger draw than basketball ……. In the minds of fools I guess.

This is awesome but sucks at the same time. I have my taxes being done at 1:00 and a CTC meeting at 2:00 so I will likely see very little missing the first 2 hours. (1:00 eastern and 2:00 eastern)

My guess was that it had to be a live event, and figured it was probably a pro day. I knew Stroud, Young, and Levis were all throwing 3 days back to back this week, so it was gonna be Bama or Kentucky. Not sure if they’re showing all 14 SEC pro days, but they were definitely gonna show Bama, Kentucky, and Florida (I think theirs is next week) because of the 3 QBs that could go top 5. Hopefully Levis goes early and they don’t show the whole thing. But they may be obligated to.

And to answer Broski’s question of what does it matter if it’s on the SECN or SECN+, it’s a lot easier to flip over to something else during commercial breaks on cable or satellite than streaming. And you can record it and pause and fast forward it on SECN. Also, folks in rural areas may not have access to fast enough internet speed to get the same quality streaming that you would on cable or satellite. It’s not a huge deal, but SECN is always superior to SECN+. You get better announcers, too. It’s why Ben McDonald is calling all 3 games this weekend.

Because it’s only year 8 of SECN+ streaming baseball games so people still can’t figure it out.

Well for most functioning adults, it doesn't matter if it's on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, SECN, SECN+, ESPN+, we'll still very easily turn our tvs on, or phone, and watch the game.

Unfortunately we are on the rants so a good amount of people on here need to be walked through the process for every game not on regular cable tv.
