I don’t understand why Game 2 had to be finished

because of the SEC rules man.

Up 6-2 bottom 8, why was that game not called final due to rain? Then play FULL 9 innings as scheduled for Game 3.

which is what the pro's do. but they play a 162 game schedule.

i'm undecided about which rule is best.

We batted 7 times to their 6 and still lost. They played by the same rules as well.

Your 4'2" coach has the ability to offer up rule changes. Has he done it? Maybe we should play a 39-game SeC schedule and only play 7 innings per game.

If we would travel by bus we could have played.

We could have played a 36-inning game today, and LSU was still getting shut out.

Wait, I have been out of the loop for a while, under what circumstances are 7 innings played? Seems pretty bush league no?

They are played on the final day of the series if the previous game has to finish that day. Today they played an inning and a half of game so game 3 was 7 innings

They would have had to finish the 8th inning at a minimum. Home team has to have their last at bat.

Seems like a wash to me. Call a game early due to weather or play a 7 inning "double header."

Generally I would think it would be better, particularly from a pitching standpoint, to just play one normal game rather than suspend one over night and play a farcical "double header."

The joke is our approach at the plate and offensive philosophy in general.

Probably the lack of an actual hitting coach

I see you Orgeron... Can't say I mind this new approach you're taking.

Stir up some shite and pitch a shift to Big 12. Nice!

Nope. The 7 inning rule is from the SEC. It doesn't change for modes of travel.
