He gets a bad wrap bc he basically fricked is over on his own in the NC.
Jefferson did not have a good game, but he did NOT frick LSU over on his own in the BCSCG.
Jefferson completed 64.7% of his passes in the BCSCG.
You want to lay blame somewhere? Look at the O-Line. LSU had no blocking. Jefferson had no time to throw, and there was no running game.
LSU rushed 27 times for 39 yards. That's 1.44 YPC.

No Herron was a 5 star. Maybe not on all of the sites but on at least one for sure. I think rivals had him as a 5 star not sure about the other sites. He got a late bump around the army all American game if I remember correctly.

This is a thread about a 2015 defensive lineman and we still find a way to bring up the 2011 national championship game. The Rant never ceases to amaze me.

Dude there was nothing wrong with Jordan Jefferson throwing or running ability
Considering his throwing motion was just awful, I have to disagree.
For the most part, dude couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in addition to his terrible decision making.

They don't call it the rant for nothing!

I'm thinking that what Miles says has little to do with you feeling stupid.

no actually his biggest issue as a passer, or at least right there with decision-making, was his accuracy. I can remember a number of times where I could see where he wanted to go with the ball, the receiver looked open/ he had a favorable matchup, and the throw was bad.
hell Crowton's offense was screen-heavy, and that didn't require much decision making. but Jordan would throw bad balls and the WRs could never really take the screens upfield. he did a bunch of that in 09.

How in the actual frick did this turn into a discussion about Jordan Jefferson?
Posted on 7/28/15 at 12:34 pm to TheDrunkenTigah
because most of what's posted on this site generally gets back to QB discussion, past and present. lemme tell you, sonny, about the old days of Mauck vs Randall discussions...
back on topic....
hey Frank, if you're reading this, ball out this year. channel your inner Bennie Logan. thanks.

That is stupid. You might not like some stuff he says, you might not like him as a person or a coach but your statement is idiotic. The reality is every coach says stuff to "throw off" the competition and most people recognize it for what it is. Just because he doesn't give you the inside information doesn't make your statement true.

Herron is going to shock some people. Despite the rant's bitching about Miles public comments, he actually was turning heads last year. He got into the dog house with the whole bike/fireworks thing, and by the time he had served his unofficial suspension he had injured himself off the field.
BOOM. Finally some truth. Instead of all assumptions like others make.

At a whopping 4.8 yds/comp...
They had no respect for his passing ability. Of course the running game was going to struggle.

Why are you calling this guy stupid?
The guy is actually correct - Miles engages in constant quirky coach-speak that has almost no basis in reality. I simply discount everything he says and wait until I see what's happening on the field.
I'd agree with the poster that it's stupid NOT to understand this reality.

4 or 5 star - it really doesn't matter. He was a very highly regarded recruit.
