OU game to end the year wont be a cakewalk. they will be healthy and the true freshman QB will have played 9 games.
If they can somehow upset Texas next week, they can definitely coast to the LSU game with the winner of that potentially being CFP bound.

I mean,if they are good and talented enough to go 10-2, they likely will. If not, they won’t.
It’s rare that teams have everything bounce their way and significantly separate themselves from similarly talented teams in the win/loss category. It happens though.

Maason had about 9 million dollars worth of business leaving for the draft.
We got it twisted. He’s a 3 year rental. After that he has to get money and establish his own way in the world.

Honestly, that is very shocking. He is usually very hard on LSU and usually always predicts us losing.

You know its not happening if that lsu hater scatt is saying it

We are going 5-3 at the very best in SEC play
We are not a good team. Our defense is horrible
We’ve just played UCLA and South Alabama recently so you guys are forgetting just how bad we actually are

This is bad news. Klatt is a dumbass and is wrong more than he is right.

Don't forget we also had Mason Smith leave to go in the draft when he had no business doing so. It would have been nice to see him come back under Bo Davis to improve both his game & draft stock.
Meh. Masson barely played half of his freshman year plagued by nagging injuries. Played 3 snaps his SO season before going down. Had a bad JR year, no doubt, but he hobbled into the season on a bum wheel. Still managed to play the whole season. Could he have come back and really developed under Davis and catapulted himself into the 1st round? Possibly. Could he have come back and torn an ACL and missed most of his SR season? Also possible. Then what? Comes back for a 5th season with even more wear and tear? Risk not worth the reward. He had a nice Pro Day, rally excelled at some of the drills, impressed enough teams—at least the Jaguars—to where he went in the 2nd round at pick 48 and signed a 4-year $8 million contract. He’s not getting many reps now—he’s 4th on their depth chart right now. He may be banged up again. But he’s only still 21, has great traits, a $2,651,708 signing bonus in the bank with an average annual salary of over $3 million over the next 4 years. And at only 21,he’ll be getting his second deal at only 25 years old. He obviously made the right decision for HIM. Too much risk in coming back and getting hurt again.
These hot takes on him are silly. You just wished we had him back as an avid LSU fan. And there’s no shame in him weighing the risk/reward and taking the guaranteed reward. He had to do what was best for him and his family. I hope it works out great for him. Just too much risk in coming back and praying for a healthy back to back season that he’s never had.

I’m excited the Alabama game is in Death Valley the crowd will be electric for that game
The crowd will be electric until we’re down 3 scores in the 2nd quarter. Then by middle of the third, half of them will start their exodus.

Remember. we only have to ranked 12th to be in "the playoffs". I expect LSU to end up to be ranked higher than #12 at the end of the season EACH year. If we are lucky it may happen.
