Alabama fans outnumbered LSU fans on January 9. LSU fans are bitches. There obviously won't be that many Alabama fans in Tiger Stadium but I won't be surprised if you look around tomorrow night and see dots of red everywhere.

They didn't outnumber us, but there was a lot of them and it was close to 50/50. Bama stands out more because they all wear red. LSU fans are in 40 different colors...some drunk ones probably in red too...kidding...maybe. I actually thought that would happen though. Bama fans sell out the spring game. It is great to have fans like that. They are very dedicated. But at the same time, they seem to live for nothing but Bama Football - spring games are completely boring.

I think Bama will have 12,000 - 15,000 there possibly. You will see a big section of them because they've always shown well at Tiger Stadium. But they will be heavily drowned out as long as there is no blowout or something.

LOL ever been to a game in Tiger stadium? You think over 1/5 of the stadium is going to be the other team? OK, they're going to be all up in the gold seats I guess

I've had season tickets in the south endzone for twenty years.
The last two LSU home games against Bama we have had more Gumps around us than you would believe. 10 years ago I wouldn't have believed the stadium would empty out in the third quarter either. Is pathetic to sell your home tickets to Gumps.

I've been in Tiger Stadium when the gumps had more than 20,000 attending. They always have a lot more tickets than were provided by LSU. There are a lot of "Tigers" out there that sell their tickets to gumps for the big dollars.

There were at least 15K LSU fans in BDS last year.

BDS is 10K seats bigger.

How many seats does LSU sell to visitors? Take that number add 3-5K and that's the number of bama fans in the stadium. No way it's 20K.

Look, I don't blame LSU fans for saying "$hit on this, I ain't paying $1200 for a cheap ticket."

I did and I didn't really want to. As great as last year was, many LSU fans experienced winning a BCS title in the Dome already since we had won a pair in the last 10 years. Also, although it was a great match-up, LSU had beaten Bama already. It wasn't even a new opponent to experience (though we wished it would have been after they whipped us).

And let me tell you, I've been all three times and it's the same thing every time. They do the things with the high schools bands, have no big entertainment aspect, etc. Last year they had some guy sing the national anthem that no one has ever heard of and he missed every other note in a bad way. It was pathetic. I have sympathy for the guy, but the BCS Championship has gotten way more expensive even for face value tix and decreased the entertainment value. It's a joke. My entertainment value last year really sucked since LSU laid an egg. At least that one time they had Jessica Simpson...she was at least good to look at.

This can't be serious. I hope anyone who thought that didn't complain about the loss because "hey we had already beat them once so what's the big deal".

They're already there and I bet they won't leave in the 3rd quarter. Take away the student section.

Am I doing it right?

No, what I'm saying is that it wasn't like we were playing USC who we haven't played in like 30 years or something. It was Bama - who we play every year and had already played (and beaten) once during the season. Of course it was still a huge deal, but if it would've been USC, LSU fans would have been selling their parents' future caskets from their burial plans for $5000 tickets 50,000 miles high in the terrace level.

You do realize that he's referring to WVUE in New Orleans, the only locally owned news station (Tom Benson) and not the national cable news network?

If that actually happened, the thrown Bama fan would be softly caught within two yards and returned to their seat.

There might be 20,000 Bama fans in Baton Rouge for the party, but there wont be anywhere near that number in the stadium. How would Fox News know that?
10k at best.
