Bama running backs will be like the Penn state running backs form the 90's/00's.

Saban continues to dismantle LSU in new and cruel ways every single year.

You could have mentioned that he dropped from second and third place as well.

He isn't winning the Heisman without someone else faltering or three record-setting games to finish up.

I'd bet that he's pretty much out of it.

I know what to say: our running game crapped the bed in our biggest game of the year WHILE the other team had a player run like a locomotive all day. It's not that hard to comprehend.

He does get to play Texas A&M so he's definitely not out of the race

After 1/9 I started doing a mental exercise trying to figure out what all Saban has hypothetically cost us. It's not good for the soul. He definitely has a hard-on for LSU. Not sure what he thinks we did to him, but there's some hard feelings there.

I hope so. He deserves it, but it's not incomprehensible that this game hurt his chances.

Screw the Heisman - I don't get the obsession. We got our asses completely handed to us and are likely out of the playoff picture.

No shite. All season he's been deemed the next Hershel or Bo by the media all season. A once in a generation talent. He has one bad game and he's all of a sudden the 4th best player in the country

Well tell that to the guys doing these projections. Perhaps you're overlooking the PR and perceptions aspect of this. The story will be "Fournette choked on the biggest stage of the year." I doubt beating three unranked teams (which itself isn't a given) is going to propel him back to first.

I'm calm.

Watson I think absolutely has an argument right now

Henry AND McCaffrey over Fournette? Get out of town. Talk about overreacting to 1 game.

Henry has had less than 100 yards twice this year and McCaffrey has 2 games under 100 himself.

Fournette is still destroying both of them in yards per game and yards per carry

He's a RB. They need to be more than just leading in stats to win the Heisman these days. They need to be outright dominant all year long. It's not fair (relative to QBs) but that is how it is.
