The cruel irony is that after he saw what could be done at LSU with the right scheme and play calling, he fired his OC mid-season at Kansas and implemented a very balanced spread attack.
Looking at KU season stats, their run/pass ratio is about the same as LSU’s. Watching some of their games, they were running plenty of 3 and 4-wide from the gun.
This offense and this season has been so incredible that even the world’s most stubborn man has seen the err of his ways.

Does he look silly with the long hair - sure. But who cares. He's an exceptional QB for a team that's the defending national champs and has won 29 straight. Our D will have its hands full tonight.
If Lawrence played for us, we'd be singing his praises, with or without the hair. But he wears the wrong color jersey, so he gets blasted.

There is nothing insulting about that comment that I see. Tall, lanky white dude with surfer-dude flip haircut. Some similarity there. SAS is just so bombastic it’s hard to pay attention to anything of substance he says. His argument for Lawrence over Burrow today was pretty feeble if you ask me.
