Win: the Tigers are not overrated. Lose: They are.

The one returning less than half of the production from the so-so unit it fielded last year?

Texas fans calling other programs overrated lol

It’s threads like this one that I use to remind people that no, college football is not better if Texas is back. In fact, it would be better if Texas never came back. Their fans are absolutely insufferable.

So what happens when we mudhole LSU?

This game will be over by half and the stands will be mostly purple and gold by the 4th
I wouldnt take one player on UT's starting 22 over our guys. Even Herman is overrated.
BTW every teams message board will spout delusion.

Live in North Texas and haven't initiated one conversation about the game, 2 observations:
A&M fans wish for LSU to be beat the stark living heckfire out of the 'horns, and
Texas fans chirp A Lot, tell em to go get a dog

Texas' offense is a joke.
Burrow is 2x the QB Ehlinger is. There defense lost 9 starters and will be done by half.
I see this being a 31-3/38-3 by half game.

Hahaha. That’s awesome. Jayhawks make 10 firsts on fourth down for the win. Horns down compliments of the Mad Hatter!!! Have some grass.

I think LSU is near Notre Dame/Michigan/USC territory for being the most consistently overrated program of modern times. I don't think they're that good at all and I see that game being an easy win for Texas
The irony of a Texas fan saying this about anyone else.

When was the last time you had a sober thought?
Get help. Seriously.

and I'm sure they have spies on here that are picking up a few gems from Tiger fans too, lol. LSU fans are never deluded either. It works both ways. I have confidence that LSU will win, but also realize that we could lose too and its a very conceivable notion despite what many here think. Much stranger things have happened.

We are going to work them just like we did Miami last season. There is no debate.

coming from a Texas fan?
That's as bad as Kentucky basketball fans complaining about other programs cheating.

Says the blue blood that’s won a title since the 70s and has struggled to dominate its state in wins and recruiting

They won in 2005 (Texas vs. USC). But yes, they are arguably the most overrated or under performing school in football.
At least certain schools like Michigan have excuses (e.g., poor in-state recruiting). Texas, really has nothing to blame or point the finger to for their inexplicable lack of success.
All the money in the world and they couldn't sway someone from out of Alabama.

Meh. We would've been having much different conversations if we were going into this season with last years team. At this time last year we didn't even know who the QB was going to be. Texas lost 9 of their starting 11 on defense while LSU is returning 8 full time and a few guys that started some games last year.
Texas is a good team but LSU isn't going to get overwhelmed in that stadium and Burrow will be the difference.
Burrow vs that defense or Ehlinger vs this LSU defense? Which one are you taking?
