Kids in P&G made me proud last night. Fought their asses off and never gave up. If Brennan develops then we’re winning the next 2 in this series.

Think of the momentum that would’ve been built had D White and Battle make that sack...
Or if DE hits one maybe 2 of those long passes.
Settling on that FG when we were on the goal line hurt...

Usually, after a loss to Bama, I feel depressed and just awful, but I don't today. We were contenders and a far cry from what we were at the beginning of this season. We played better than anyone expected. While I would prefer to beat the hell out of Bama every year, I feel it's coming. We are regrouping and our inexperienced players are becoming experienced. We have a future. I'm going to try very hard to be patient.

probably because "fought like hell, that's all i ask for" is a post i'd expect of a fanbase that has admitted defeat and that Alabama just has a better program than us
here's the deal. it's okay to be pissed when you lose, particularly when you're supposed to be battling them on even terms. if you're happy with moral victories you'll always justify them
