He was called an All American from the neck down. He is a poster boy for NOT having the it factor.

Josh Booty had tons of confidence and it didn’t help.

JB had no help. That was Rohan's team and they let Josh know it.
I've been following LSU for more than fifty years and I don't remember another QB take such a physical pounding.
I agree he didn't have the "It".
Maybe under different circumstances??

He bit his tongue partially off during KY his freshman yr and had it stitched together at halftime.

Didn't the story of this go something like Coach Bill Arnsparger who had coached Hodson for two years was watching the game with someone when Hodson bit through his tongue. Arnsparger reportedly said something like "Don't worry about him, he'll keep playing. He's the toughest kid I've coached".

Since 1970, LSU's two "it" QBs are Bert Jones and Tom Hodson. I love Burrow. He is tough as nails and I'm glad we have him.

I love the “Agree with me and you’ll be considered rational” intro you began this post with.

Joe looked good in the Fiesta Bowl, but he looked mediocre at times throughout the 2018 season, especially in November.

Mett should have started in 2011.

Instead, we got Jarrett Lee.

That’s how good LSU was in 2011. We started 9-0 *with* Jarrett Lee as a starter.

For the first time in a long time, I finally feel like our QB talent and depth is on par with the rest of CFB

Rohan was fearless . Still remember the Peach Bowl against GT fearless in the pocket brushing off a DE and throwing a strike. Nothing fazed him.

sticking fairly recently, JB reminds me a of a cross between Flynn and Mett. Uber confident and a great teammate, but also goofy as hell.

I don't think JR had the IT factor. He was just big, and had a wrifle for an arm. He was good, but not the "IT" factor imo.

Nothings spews “it factor” like playing in your first game ever (and starting) against a highly ranked aTm team as a 175lb RS freshman and whipping their arse.
