2 “MAJOR” reasons why the S/cB were so bad the past 3years….Sage never looked back for the ball even when the WR made it obvious the ball was close. He never form tackled just tried to strip the ball and gave up an extra 3-5yds on most plays after contact.

I was thinking to about Hilton and Sage Carrer at this point.
Hilton was a top-five wideout
Sage was a top safety
Both probably thought they were going to the NFL after 2023, yet they will face off against each other in college in 2025. One of them is not like the other. Can you imagine Sage Ryan trying to cover go routes by Hilton or Brown? If they can figure out the O-line, I will say it. Passing records are being broken, and I am talking about single-season passing records.

Ryan has got to be at least top 3 in biggest 5 star busts in LSU history. Idk what these recruiting services where seeing in Ryan out of high school but nothing about him ever looked even close to 5 star material to me.
