I haven’t seen anything official about that other than message board speculation and hearsay.

It’s been confirmed on all the paid sites. I don’t think that’s really something that’s going to be publicly stated, by LSU anyway.

From what Embody said it makes me think LSU has several avenues they can go down to make sure all 13 guys are taken care of, even if they’re only left with 12 scholarships.

I’m trying to. It’s a difficult decision. I’d like to find some reason to be especially optimistic but i don’t see any.

Based on the folks at the ticket office it seems a lot of folks are feeling the same so I’m wondering where are these new people are that you speak of

This team sucks, no matter who is brought in. Nothing is changing any time soon.

How many points did Joe Burrow average at Ohio St.?
Ky was bad, but playing behind Oscar Tshiebwe, was not going to allow him to earn much playing time.

I don't know why you're so mad for me telling the truth. Tell LSU to stop being pussies, man up, rebuild the men's program, and start putting some backing behind it. Mc is not it. Sorry to say. it's clear as day he's in way over his head. The longer he sits here at this university the deeper you're digging the grave.

You see any big names from the portal lining up for Mc? No. You see any big names in HS lining up for him? No. You can't win without recruiting. For that reason alone he should be shite canned. The reality of the situation is you're stuck with him and not much you can do because LSU doesn't care about the men's program right now. Did Wade get any support? Nope. He had to basically do it all himself.

You're a woman's basketball program now.

We may notbb be e great next year but we are, without question, a more offensively skilled team than we were last year. We will be better shooting from 2 and 3. We won’t be great defensively but we definitely won’t have problems scoring. We have some decent players coming back, the improvement will be especially high the guys that were freshmen last year.
Mwani will be healthy and a good defender. Our incoming transfer guards are both good to great scorers.

I’m worried about defensive presence in the paint because our bigs aren’t built to hold their own in the post, in other words , a strong big will back them down easily

Come on down Daimion! Glad to have him aboard, his dad is definitely smiling down.

Also everybody can hold the “he was a backup at Kentucky” comments. Dude lost his dad and is obviously a talented player, I’m gonna root for a guy like him no matter what. Losing a parent at any age is hard, especially when you’re that young

He played behind one of the best big men in the country in Oscar tshiebwe. When he got minutes you can see the talent. Especially in shot blocking and getting up for rebounds. This is going to be a really good pickup for the Tigers

He's a clear take. He's a high-energy big with length who can jump.

Just couldnt break the lineup for more PT. There were times he was used a lot at UK and times he sat a lot.

He has a huge wingspan like 7’2” or more despite only being 6’10”. Really good rim protector. Tended to get into foul trouble a lot. He should be able learn to control that. No outside threat that I am aware of but midrange was ok.
Biggest issue at UK was his weight. He has had trouble putting on body mass. He is a pretty good player that has some good upside potential.

Heard one of the recruiting guys that sometimes come on 104.5 talking about him and the situation. Said he isn't a big scorer, his game is defense. Said he was really coming along nice until the situation with his Dad. Dad owned a trucking company in Texas and sold it and moved to Lexington to be near his son. Dad and son had went to the gym and worked out and Dad died suddenly in his apartment later than evening at age 43. Totally out of the blue and shocked the family as you would expect being so young. He lost 15 pounds in the process off of a skinny frame to begin with. By the time he got back he fell behind the team and wasn't in shape and I would imagine his heart wasn't in it either for awhile. Sounds like he just wants to start over. Hopefully it works out for him and LSU.

oh, I was just picking at the poster/comment for glossing over those two rebounds/game lol.

definitely wasn’t shitting on the kid for not getting much PT at KY. he definitely has talent and I feel like a change of scenery will help ease his mind while dealing with a huge personal loss. Im hopeful the opportunity to get fresh start in BR will benefit Mr Collins and the Tigers in the coming years
