Concern with Burrow - not his ability at all, big, strong, durable. My concern is the little time he's had to understand and learn the system. I don't believe we can afford mistakes due to lack of understanding the system. In order to combat that play calling may need to watered down to fit???

It’s a new system for ALL the QBs and the little experience they had in the spring didn’t show much hope.

Burrow has had 4 fewer months to learn the system than Ensminger.

Assuming Ensminger knew what system he was running when he was hired.

The whole reason they brought in Burrow is because the system they want to run is similar what he ran at OSU

I don't know about that. He was the best transfer QB on the market and we had an inroad to getting him signed.

So he’s more familiar with the system than Ensminger.

And you think he would come to a school that didn’t fit his skillset

It's not going to happen. Saturday's scrimmage will "reveal" Burrow as the starter.

Burrow is going to be the starter, he didn't transfer to stand on the sideline and hold a clipboard. He could have stayed at OSU for that.

The media's report is based on what? 25 minutes of access to practice?

The question should be.. Who will back up Joe Burrow.

I will never understand why race still comes up in a sports discussion. I couldn't care less what color skin the guy has that puts the ball in the end zone for my team. It's not even something that enters my brain when discussing who should be on the field. It's all purple and gold to me.

Based on reports today and yday he’s starting to Separate a bit. McMillan fighting hard though. Lowell seems to have cleaned up his delivery and footwork some. I am curious how he runs the offense this Saturday

Burrow will take it tomorrow. I'm not sure how O will spin it, but I expect Burrow to be more accurate (AS USUAL) and more consistent in making the best decisions.

We may see 2 qbs vs Miami. I wouldn’t be suprised if it’s very close between Jmac & Burrow that E may Trot Jmac out on first possession. Make no mistake about it Likr CUM said JB is a made qb. The kid is good. So if JM hangs with him all camp being the 3 yr vet that’s wked hard, he may get a drive early to see what he can do. If the D and Joe are good enough they should be able to overcome a stalled drive or two if JM can’t get something going

Lol what are you trying to say?? Get the freak out of here with this shite. LSU fans want the best QB to play regardless of color. We have had crap QB play for yrs, it’s time for change. I don’t care if we have a black midget with only one testicle at QB as long as he can play. Do everyone a favor and post less!
