Lol they had 3 backs top 100 yards and went for over 400 yards total

I'm trying to see what they did defensively.. One of their DB's grabbed one INT in the 3rd.
How big a litmus test is Duquesne... I think Jayden Daniels will be able to extend plays and take any yards he can get with his feet that only opens it up for our capable receivers, not to mention a more than sound rushing ability offensively overall I look to win this, not to mention plenty of energy will be available in the Superdome for LSU.
All of the offensive question marks are still out there for another week as to what our offense is really capable of but we'll have a way bigger handle on that by the end of that night.

Look out. We have Jaxson travel ball coach who is a loser and drinks water during college football Saturday.

DU constantly got sacks and pressure on their qb. FLa St had no running game. FLA St defense looked slow even against a literal high school team.

They have a hell of a running back

What game you watch to say they dont have a running back
Posted on 8/28/22 at 1:16 pm to LSUstephen17
They played the blocking dummies.

I didn’t watch it but I would put as much stock in this game as you would in an NFL pre season game which is very little

I think FSU will have a tough time in the trenches. Specifically the interior offensive line. I believe they are starting their 3rd string center. There was a lot of pressure from the interior oline all game against FSU. That will only get worse with Maason Smith, J. Roy, J Guillory, and Mekhi Wingo.

I agree about the line play favoring us. Their O Line has injury issues and our line is deep and talented. As long as our LBs and Safeties do their jobs (unlike the UCLA game last year), we should be good vs their run game.
The D Line is supposed to be a strength for FSU, but I was pretty underwhelmed with what I saw yesterday. DU’s O Line was able to get enough push up front for several 5+ yard gains early. That shouldn’t happen as undersized as they were. I know our line has question marks, but we know there is talent and strength there now. Our guys need experience and continuity, but I could see our guys still holding up fine based on what we saw.

We shut down the run and spy the QB and pray our pass defense is decent we should win if our offensive line better than the last couple years.

No, I do not coach for a D1 college football team so I don't sit with a notebook analyzing games for .... no one.

So you’re saying they had a couple shrimps on the barbie eh??

Despite putting up major yardage numbers, I thought the offense looked rather pedestrian.

I’m going to post this again:
They played a team with 160lb DBs, 200lb LBs, 240lb DLs and not a single OL even close to 300lbs. LSU puts a completely different animal on the field in a week.
