good vision to find holes and can't make the quick lateral cuts necessary to hit them in the nfl

You’re a poor evaluator of talent.
You can have all the vision in the world and quickest lateral cuts in the game but if there are no holes then you won’t be able to have success. Leonard has plenty of skill necessary to be successful but there’s only so much he can do without help.

Just showed a stat.. he faces a “stacked” box 43% of the time, the most in the nfl

Jacksonville was the WORST place for him. He belongs in Philly, Dallas, Tennessee, New Orleans, or Green Bay. Even Indy would have been a better spot for him with their great o-lines.

Doug Maronne sucks and is killing the Jags one day at a time. I feel sorry for Fournette, he is so talented but is going to have to wait another couple years before being able to leave

He's a RB. In another couple of years, he'll most likely be out of the league.

And stacked boxes aside, his stat line is fricking abysmal tonight. It might be time to consider that LF just might not make it in the NFL. I hope to God I'm wrong.

So by your logic anybody that can run fast in a straight line would be a good rb. If fournette has a hole where he expects it to be he's good. If not, he's lucky not to lose yardage. And he does it consistently

Eta: 11att / -8yds so far tonight

That’s pretty much the case for any good NFL back. If you plugged any other NFL back into the offense in Jacksonville they would all struggle. You have to have a chance

It's not just that he doesn't have a hole. It's that he gets met in the backfield almost every play. Also, it isn't that he can't find a hole, its that he doesn't have one

He’s always looked slow in the NFL. I’m not sure if it’s the competition or if he’s perpetually out of shape.

He tracked the fastest on field speed of any player his rookie year

I’ll retracted the “always”. He did look good his rookie year. After that, he’s looked slow to me. Not as explosive as he was in college.

Even on that play he had no running lane. He had to literally spin through the defensive line to get into space. Jags Line looks horrible
