Yeah. I was all about defending what happened.
Nice try.
Your shtick is and always has been the same.
Defend like crazy but when shite looks awful, don't defend and instead just claim the people who criticize Miles enjoy losing.
Basically. You're just an arse.

Some people lose sight of that. There was a thread last night where a couple of posters wanted the team plane to crash.

Happened for me last year. Tired of the shite offense and piss poor QB play. It's shameful and inexcusable that we can't do better.

On a positive note, we only incurred 5 penalties for 57 yards, so Miles cleaned up that part of the game. The lack of penalties might explain the lack of blocking as that is a difficult skill to master without holding. Miles probably had to sacrifice one for the other and thankfully, he chose to address the penalties.

"I BET YOU'RE ALL HAPPY THE THING YOU SAID WOULD HAPPEN HAPPENED! WE CAN'T GET A BETTER COACH. YOU JUST WANT TO LOSE TO BE RIGHT. YOU AREN'T A REAL FAN."

You can give yourself some credibility (or confirm that you have none) by actually coming out and saying whether you still want LSU to keep Les or not, instead of focusing your comments on other posters.

I am glad I didn't see that... I would have gotten banned or my response.....
ITS JUST A FOOTBALL GAME.........................

One might ask how you even get 5 penalties when you have the ball for 22 minutes.

I'm not saying you're nuts because I know for a fact your a level headed thoughtful dude.
But I don't get this.
Coming back this year while literally having made zero changes to his offense really exposes a side of him that I feel has been obvious for some time.
He's got kind of an a-hole streak in him. That whole "aw shucks, I speak funny" thing is a joke.
He isn't going into living rooms and convincing five star kids and their parents to come to LSU while sounding like a moron.
He straight up took the "I'm going to prove I'm right and everyone else is wrong" approach.
Nick fricking Saban has more humility than this a-hole. Coaches all around the country are modernizing their offense. It's a sign that they have the ability to self evaluate. They have introspection. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, that they DO have a responsibility to subjugate their fricking pride in exchange for millions of dollars if necessary.
Miles has just come off as a stubborn prideful arse. His decision making us CLEARLY influenced by a tendency to dig in if criticized.
I'm sure he's not a bad human being, but I would fire ANYONE who worked for me with that approach.
This same stubborn "coach can do no wrong" mentality is what permeated Penn State at the end of Paterno's run. It is time for Miles to go.
C'mon Les, admit that time has passed you by and be a man like Steve Spurrier was and walk away from this shite.

Miles is getting beaten up pretty good on Sirius College Sports. Lou Holtz was even questioning Miles sincerity on changing the offense.
Posted on 9/4/16 at 12:55 pm to coolmonk
I mean, when you look at Miles, do you ever see him really coaching guys and being emphatic with them during the game? Compared to just about every other coach out there, he just seems like a spectator most of the time listening to what is going on over his headset and staring into space.
We had three turnovers, little offense and terrible special teams all while having better talent and more experience. I don't know what apologists can even say he's bringing to the table at this point. We looked just how we looked at the end of last year's regular season.

I said last night that I believe this is his last season but don't think firing him right now does anything positive for the season.

I cannot agree more with the OP, even the diehard Les suporters i know have accepted the fact that we are at a dead end with les

Yeah.
What bothers me the most about this is the people that act like miles' entire tenure was a failure. That is ridiculous. It's probably his time to go but to act like it was a terrible tenure is hard to take serious.
Posted on 9/4/16 at 12:58 pm to BeeFense5
Ok now this is reasonable. I agree that firing him now wouldn't fix this season, however I don't believe this season can be fixed either way. Those issues needed to be addressed over the summer.
ETA: I was on board before yesterday. I believed the issues were being addressed. Ugh.

I do. Fire Miles promote Ogeron to Interim and make Craig OC.

I couldn't believe how bad the line play was. That won't get fixed overnight.

If you're not moving forward, you're going backwards. Some might argue that, but Les is the general that fights the last war while our opposition has already countered us before LSU even sees the coin toss.

Firing him now is Meh. It won't help next year. We'll hire who hire
The only concern is that often, when this shite happens, kids basically quit. If it looks like that begins, you have to fire him mid season for the good of the players.
Otherwise, you wait till probably the last game
