Not sure what you are trying to link, but it's not working. Also, Alabama has dominated recruiting since Saban's return to college football. Changing uniforms every week is a gimmick.

I would rather have a kid more impressed by our two BCS crystal balls and championship rings than some ugly abomination that the Nike and/or Under Armour whores make us wear. WINNING IS THE ONLY THING TRADITION THAT MATTERS!

I like the occasional change. Personally, I think our regular jerseys are pretty bonk. The shoulder stripe is terrible.

The only thing that matters in football is winning
Oregon wasn't thrust into the national spot light until they started competing in the pac 10 on a regular basis. Before that they were changing uniforms regularly and the only thing it made them was the punch line of a joke. And oregon didn't start competing because they were pulling in recruits with their awesome swag, they one with scraps, left overs...they found the right coach with the right system at the right time in the right place.

Guys are saying even though the uni might be terrible, it gets the recruits talking about that college and maybe looking at the program. One said like how everyone used to talk about Oregon's unis, now they're winning games, so now everyone will talk about football. One guy did say if you are choosing a school based on uniforms you need your head examined. I applaud him for that.

I think our uniforms are fine. Wear white whenever we can, purple for one or two games a year and then wear a special Pro Combat uni once a season so we can donate that shite to charity and have something to talk about.

Wow, if someone decides which college to attend based on the uniform he has to be pretty dumb. Next season Nike, or UA comes out with a totally different style he doesn't like what is he going to do transfer? A kid should look at educational opportunity, athletic program, and how he fits in when making a decision like this, not how cool is the uniform.

I'm with you, but we also need to fix the shoulder stripes on the current jerseys.

I think you are missing the point. They aren't saying that a kid will say, "Oh wow! Northwestern State has some badass jerseys, screw LSU. I'm going to Natchitoches." However, Maryland has certainly raised their profile with the jersey talk. Then maybe Maryland won't be some foreign school when Crowton calls up some poor QB recruit.
