its clear and its been stated.
Who stated that? Why didn't you just say who stated it in your OP instead of being so vague?
For example, if it was Burrow who stated that then you could have said, for ex: after the game, in the locker room, Burrow stated to reporter Brooks Kubena that he told Emory to get off the field for not knowing the play.
The 5 W's of reporting, Who, What, when, where, and why

WGAF besides you. You don't know what you're looking at either.

The pressure on that play came from the left side, not up the middle on the guy he blocked. He was late on the block, but did enough. 2 other defenders were in the back field blowing that play up.

He will be a great player one day

LSU an Sportscasters / announcers and just watch the play

maybe the guy isnt good but on that one play he had 3 guys to block all by himself so its pretty unfair to single him out when the whole line wiffed leaving him in that position.
as for burrow pointing him to leave thats BS he wasnt even gesturing at him it was for the team to quickly line up quickly

IT WAS A MISSED SCREEN PLAY, not a blocking play.

Incorrect. Its confirmed that Burrow was telling him to get out. Read the thread first before posting.
Hell READ the entire OP first before posting.

Looks like a first down signal to me.

do me a favor...whereever you are, point at something to the right of yourself and then, without turning your shoulders, point at something to the left of yourself.
That motion is the first down signal as well as used to tell someone to get off the field.

he isn't playing because our coaches knew what they had in CEH. You don't take snaps away from a man who has that kind of fire that he does.

This really isn’t hard. If you watch the play, it’s obviously a screen and Emery didn’t know what he was supposed to do.
We know the kind of player Burrow is and we’ve seen him getting on to the o-line during a game. It’s not hard to imagine Burrow having words with Emery (a freshman) after that play. Besides Emery did not come back into the game after this.

Watching it in slow motion it does look like he is talking to Emery. At first it just looked like he was turned around when he pointed. I was wrong.

yes it was and there was 900 lbs of beef in his face so he couldnt release unless he had the ability to run through people blocking his way
its right there on film, so was he supposed to leap 10 ft in the air and fly over the wall of players in his face at the snap?
the guy may be the worst p[layer on the team and not deserve another chance but he isnt the only player who caused that play to not work as planned

He looked straight at Emery and moved his arm in a "sweeping" motion, idk where you guys are seeing a first down motion. He didn't see the field again after that either, so Joe being upset and sending him to the sideline absolutely makes sense. Learn the play calls or sit down and let the next man make a play.

He wasn't gesturing 1st down, he was signaling a package substitution (He wasn't just telling Emery to get off the field). Either way, the entire line collapsed, Emery actually did better than the rest of the left side.
This was a terrible example.
