The main problem with Les was his unwillingness to adapt his offensive strategies. That was and still is the main reason why he is not coaching...being too old is secondary.

You mean like when he brought in Crowton to conduct the spread and open up the passing game..... or when he brought in Cameron to bring it more Pro-Style?

Curious how this narrative works

Wrong. The main reason Les isn't coaching is because it doesn't make sense for him to unless he lands a top flight job. He is getting paid MILLIONS to not coach, only the top power 5 jobs would be able to pay him on top of that. Would you take a job if you could get your salary paid even when you aren't working? Probably not.

He isn't getting those top jobs though because he's too old. Even if he's done, he has nothing to be ashamed of - He will probably be in the coaching Hall of Fame one day.

Do you not see the difference?

Okay, let’s try this - when was the last time a 65 year old coach was a new hire?

List those examples

Holy shite, will you idiots just let Les go? He's living in y'alls head rent free.

He did great things here, anyone who says otherwise is just hating the man. That said, it was his time to go. It's just a shame we replaced him with a shrimp boat captain.

Please, get off the rant with that common sense. It doesn't fit his narrative, therefore, it doesn't matter.

I said in a post 2 days ago that Fulmer is going to hire him at Tennessee. It’s going to happen.

I know he said coach, but I'm guessing he meant head coach...?

Or, maybe not.

He’s not too old.

He’s too stubborn.

Age is not relevant to being an idiot.
