Just asking for your honest opinions. No right or wrong answers, just would like to know your gut feeling…. do you think LSU will win another NC in football anytime soon and why do you support that thought?

Yes, because of BK. Other reasons obviously but it starts with him.

Yes, I think we win one in the next 5-6 years, but more importantly contend for one 2 out of every 3 years.

We have a shot this year if JD progresses and the OL gets better.

I know this will be an unpopular opinion but no. Not until BK has a better scheme, better players and better coaches than the other select top-tier programs. He’s not there yet. Once we do then he has a shot. Until then, he’ll just be very competitive agst the best teams.

I’ll call my shot right now, National championship team this year. Called it back in ‘11 (most obvious) and ‘19 well before the season. Our quiet offseasons (knock on wood) usually result in our best performances. Daniels will be a heisman contender, Nabers will turn into a first round WR, and that defense will feast again. Look out for Savion Jones

What's the better scheme? Offense? Defense?

Can we, yes, for sure. Will we, that remains to be seen. All of the pieces are there, but right now UGA is head and shoulders above everybody else.

Well with expanded playoffs I expect LSU to have a shot every year to win one,so lightening should strike easier because of this

He just won the SEC West in his first year with half a team. I don’t believe scheme is the problem. Or coaches. If the Oline learns to gel then LSU definitely will be in the hunt this year for a title.

Yes. Bama is on the decline and Saban won't be there another decade. Smart isn't winning 3 in a row. We are going to have windows in the next 5 years.

The starting 22 has a real shot this year. The depth is the problem.

Yes, because the organization and infrastructure is now in place to be a contender every year. The every 4 years shite should be a thing of the past based on BK's track record of consistency. With the expanded playoff, we should get more swings at the piñata.

are you forgetting that they won a Championship with Miles and Coach O!. BK should have no problem winning a Championship.

Of course I haven't forgotten but it's all about who you have on your roster, how that talent is being developed and employed and who you are playing against. Until Georgia and OSU, at a minimum, regress or LSU improves drastically then I don't think LSU wins one.

Both and throw in special teams. Offense ranked ~28 nationally, defense ~56, special teams ~125. None of that is good enough. And by scheme, I include player utilization, play design and play/player execution. All of that needs improvement IOT to win the NC. I obviously expect the team to be better this year compared to last but significant enough in all 3, I'm not ready to push the I believe button yet.

Not with BK.
His success in big games is below average.
He always lays an egg like aTm last year.
