Football in Tiger Stadium

Does anyone know or have any guesses the estimated capacity that would be allowed in the stadium if games are played with fans and what criteria would be required of the fans to attend games?

Nobody knows right now. It's all guessing at this point. If it's 6 feet distance, I'm guessing that there would be 1 person for every 3 seats of space, so 1/3 capacity, which would put the attendance at roughly 35000 per home game at tiger stadium. Just my guess. Maybe a little more or a little less.

Well if you divide 102,321 by John Bel Edwards, you get a lecture and nobody in the stands.

I'm guessing that you would also have to skip rows and alternate seating on those rows. So a pattern like this quick drawing could bring it down to 20% capacity or so. Of course, this is a wild arse guess.

Everything will look exactly the same, just two quarters earlier.
Gotta beat that traffic and/or go back to the tailgate for more food/alcohol.
Way too many things to do to remain in the stadium for a full four quarters for all the New Age Snowflake Corporate LSU Fans that inhabit the Coliseum now.

Texas claims it will put 50000 season ticket holders in their stadium this year. I’ll believe it when it happens.

Thinks should be more socially distanced after halftime

Approximately 3 Fiddy. Hope they don't leave at half time.

I feel like there’s gonna be 45-50k by November up to 65k.

All the "leave at halftime" folks get priority. Stadium will be almost empty in 2nd Half.

According to Fauci and his support, we can all go and no need for masks as long as we sit by family.

They would let small groups sit together. As in, if me and you go to the game together, we could sit next to each other. Husband and wife, father and son, etc.
This would increase capacity from your model.

Yeah, waivers are always rock solid legal agreements, never challenged in court. No way it costs LSU at minimum legal fees if somebody gets sick and sues despite the waiver.

i'm sure scared people will because they are probably at higher risk, maybe a few irrational folks as well. What's that got to do with this?
