Since when are there direct flights from the UK to NOLA? People talking about customs, those would be cleared at the first port of entry into the US. Maybe they added a London to MSY flight and I’m just behind the times?

I think British Airways has a London to New Orleans flight

Yes - I think 4 or 5 days per week there is a direct flight from Heathrow. Total game changer if you like to travel between the two cities! You should try it.

Thanks for all the comments.

I have faith I’ll make it. But if not I predict it’s 14-6 LSU when I arrive. I’ll let y’all know.

You should get there just in time for the trophy presentation. Well worth the trip.

You won’t make it in time. That’s some piss poor planning.

I’m intrigued. Are you going to buy clothes when you are here? Are you just flying back the next morning? Will you be brushing your teeth? How does one travel with zero bags?

I’m meeting my brother-in-law (lives in BR) at the stadium. At Christmas I left a bag with him at Christmas with a change of clothes, toothbrush etc. which will be at our hotel. Expecting to get some questions from Border Control as will look a bit wired arriving with nothing!

Sadly wasn’t able to make a Sunday flight so this is the best I could do. Huge LSU fan so happy to take the risk.

I suggest you upgrade your seat to row 1. First off plan and first through customs

^^^This^^^ is a GREAT idea, if you can do it.

Also, OP, The President will already be settled into the dome, so it shouldn't affect road traffic too much, which will still be heavy anyway.

If you don’t have to check bags and the flight is on time I bet you could run to grab a Uber and make it

Honestly, I think you have a decent shot -- because everyone else is going to be freaking out about the POTUS security, they're going to enter early, I bet the rush will be already processed through by the time you are rolling up 10 mins before kickoff.

Same with traffic.

I bet you make it for kickoff.

Arriving at New Orleans airport 65 minutes before kick-off. Would normally expect to make it downtown within an hour but concerned about the added Trump security!

I salute you. This is an incredible effort to make to see LSU play for a title. My largest concern would be flight delays. If you actually land on time, I think you can make it to the Dome by the first quarter.

Thank you my man!

I love LSU. My family loves LSU. Unfortunately this was the only flight I could take to get to the game. Here’s hoping it all pans out.

Good luck to all of you.

Be loud.
