Noticed we kept circling Atlanta for 15 minutes. Captain finally comes over intercom and says we have an engine fire we must land immeidately. We land to airport security and fire rescue on the runway.
No more signs of fire. It has been put out. We are escorted to the gate.
Upon gate entry and deboarding the pilot is discussing the procedures he took to put out the fire with other delta and rescue personnel. We were flying with only one engine the 15 minutes in the air.
