I was in TS some years ago when they did a flyover with an old bomber plane. They said it did a number of missions and was being retired to an Airforce Base nearby. As it flew over it tipped its wing, which is considered a salute. I was sitting with my dad, who is a Vietnam Vet, talk about goosebumps and a lump in the throat.

My grandfather was an ace fighter pilot in WW2.He flew a p-51 mustang and was a career instructer for the royal canadian airforce after his tour of duty.
Last year at the belle chase air show they did a commerative fly over.It was a P-51,F-18 and a F-22 flying in formation. It was

That must have been cool. Talk about the history of US fighter planes right there.

Anybody else remember a flyover at Tiger Stadium in previous years? I thought there was one for the first game in 2004, but my memeory of that game is fuzzy. (except for the torrential downpour right before the game)

I remember one before the Texas A&M game in the 80s.

I think there may not be one this week. In the past weeks when there has been a flyover, people on the rant who live on campus have reported that they have seen them doing run throughs. No such info on here yet that i have seen.

So far I haven't seen them doing any practice runs, so I'm doubting there will be one.... But I'll keep an eye to the sky!

Anyone remember the Eagle that flew from the Southeast corner to the student section one year? This was before the expansion ... and it wasn't a WAR EAGLE a la AU ... don't really remember what game but I do remember being in awe at the performance of the Eagle.

The one I saw at the Army-Navy Game 2 years ago was amazing. When Navy ran out on the field about 10 F-16s flew over and when Army ran out about 10 blackhawks or apache's flew over. It was amazing, they looked like they were going to take out the upper deck they were so low. When the F-16s flew over I almost fell down from the vibrations.

Hey cord ... find something out for me. Did the band start playing "Holiday" or whatever BEFORE or AFTER Trindon started playing for the Tigers.

Thanks!
